The 2018 Meeting of the Oat Millers Committee (OMC) (group of oat milling companies in CEEREAL) took place on the 14th and 15th of June in Helsinki, Finland. The meeting was kindly hosted by the Finnish Flour Milling Association and co-organized by CEEREAL. It gathered around 40 oat millers and national associations from all over Europe.
The meeting on Friday 15 June, served as an occasion to mark the achievements of 2017-2018 and identify the upcoming challenges for 2018-2019.
The meeting was also an opportunity to celebrate the leadership of Alk Brand who is retiring from his position as OMC representative on the CEEREAL Board. He will be succeeded by Niklas Kumlin, CEO, Helsinki Mills Ltd, who was elected as the new OMC representative.
Thanks to the OMC Members and the Finnish Flour Milling Association, the 2018 OMC meeting was a great success. CEEREAL looks forward to welcoming its Members in Ireland for the 2019 meeting.
