The European Breakfast Cereal Association (CEEREAL) represents the breakfast cereal and oat milling industries towards the European Union and its institutions, industry and consumer associations as well as consumers. Established in 1992 by eight national breakfast cereal associations, CEEREAL today counts 8 member associations in 8 European countries and 10 company members.
Breakfast cereals are grain-based foods that are mainly made of oats, wheat, rye, corn, rice, and barley. They are enjoyed in different forms, like flakes, muesli, granolas, or porridge.
